Registering your details on the bluon.me device is very easy! After unboxing, open a browser on any computer or phone and go to the web address printed on the bluon.me wristband. Please note: type the address directly into the browser bar, not into a search engine (like Google)! You'll be asked for a few details, registered within minutes — and it's ready to use. If your phone has NFC, bring it (switched on and unlocked) close to the band to speed things up even more.

Not at all! The system is universal because it is web-based: no apps to download, which makes bluon.me truly compatible with any device connected to the Internet. In a split second, all the necessary information is available both to whoever finds the lost child/pet and to the parents/owners.

bluon.me and NFC technology are compatible with Apple smartphones too! All recent models (from Xs, Xs Max and Xr) read NFC tags without any app: just unlock the iPhone, bring it close to the chip in the wristband and tap the notification. Models from iPhone 7 onwards can also use NFC via any NFC-reader app. And even without NFC, bluon.me works: open the browser and type the website printed on the band.

The Safeguard system activates automatically when the bluon.me band worn by your child/pet is read by someone. When your phone vibrates with an instant message from the Safeguard system, you are taken to a web page showing the last available position of your child/pet, with weather conditions and temperature, optional Facebook Messenger alerts, live traffic and a suggested route to reach them as fast as possible.

Geolocation happens when someone finds your child/pet and brings an NFC phone close to the band, or opens the website printed on the product. You instantly get a notification (or Messenger/e-mail alert) on all registered devices and can check the position on the interactive map. Permanent tracking would require GPS, batteries and SIM cards — with costs, weight and recharging. bluon.me is deliberately practical and simple: barely two grams, no recharging, no maintenance, waterproof, no subscription fees.

With the Safeguard instant notification system, every bluon.me band can talk to any smartphone, iPhone, iPad, tablet, Mac or computer — without installing apps! Register the devices where you want to receive alerts: when the band is read, a notification with the child's/pet's location appears immediately, with sound or vibration. (iPhones and iPads receive an e-mail notification instead.)

No subscription fees to use bluon.me! Once you've bought the wristband there are no additional costs: the Safeguard service that lets you locate your child or pet is included free, forever.
